Poem

The Real You

The Real You

What you do
When you’re told to change
They say what you need
Is close in range.

Change your clothes
Change your shoes
Look at this
Your hot news.

The price of beauty
Then comes hatred
Your natural color
Is what’s sacred.

Don’t change yourself
For others needs
What’s in their heart
Is only greed.

What you need
Is in your heart
Look for the answer
That’s where you’ll start.

Find who you are
Your own view
Look in the mirror
The Real You!
