Physical Health During Quarantine

Although this time is crazy and stressful, there are ways to stay happy and healthy. It is always important to get active, and it can be especially beneficial during this time. Through all the stress, it is necessary to do physical activity whenever possible. It is a great way to clear the mind to stay not only physically healthy but also mentally healthy. Below is a list of ways you can get active while in quarantine.


Take a walk/run

  • This option is easy and accessible. Going on walks and runs is a great way to get out in nature and get some fresh air.

Although all gyms and workout facilities are closed, there are many online resources that are offering workout classes. Not only can you watch pre-recorded videos, but many workout facilities are also hosting instagram live classes. This is a great way to get your typical workout in at home.


Do yoga

Many online sites are offering yoga classes that are beneficial in clearing the mind and strengthening the body. This could also be a fun activity to do with family or friends.


Go on a bike ride

This is a great way to get some fresh air and stay active. Get out in nature alongside family members or even alone!


Play sports

There are so many possibilities when getting some movement. Go outside and play games with your friends or family. This option is fun and sure to get your mind of any of the stresses of life during quarantine.

Go Swimming

Although this option is limited to those with pools or access to a pool, this is a great way to stay active, get refreshed, and have fun.


Get creative and change up the exercises you do. It is always important to stay active but especially during times such as these. If you are feeling stressed or just want to get off the couch, then grab a family member and get moving!
