Halloween Costume Ideas

Now that it’s finally October, Halloween is on many people’s minds. To find a costume this year, consider a few categories of Halloween costumes.

1. Classic Halloween

Witches, ghosts, skeletons, and any other ‘classic’ type of Halloween costumes are easy to put together and always a hit. These are easily DIY-ed or can be found at virtually any department store. These types of costumes are iconic and can never go wrong. There’s nothing wrong with sticking with the classics!

2. Movie/Celebrities

Movie and TV show characters are always super fun for Halloween. Getting inspiration from shows like WandaVision or Squid Games is sure to wow. Dressing as celebrities has become increasingly popular as well (think Harry Styles as Elton John), for this, consider the Kardashians or Britney Spears. The Spice Girls or One Direction would both be perfect group dress-up themes.

3. Funny Costumes

Have you ever seen Katy Perry dressed as a hot Cheetos? This is a perfect example of a funny costume. Another route to take is that of a pun. Dressing as a pig in a blanket or a queen bee are both super cute. Whether the costume is a pun or just totally random, funny Halloween costumes are always great (just make sure the joke gets across).

Happy Halloween!
