As Valentine’s day approaches, it can seem very overwhelming when single. There are many ways to celebrate this holiday without having someone romantically. Such as “Galentine’s” Day, which is celebrated on February 13th but instead of celebrating with a significant other, it’s for the girls! If Galentine’s Day is something that interests you, then here are five examples of how you can fully embrace this new take on Valentine’s Day.

1. Make and Decorate Little Cakes

Hop on Pinterest and find inspiration. There are plenty of cool designs that are waiting to be made, and you can even turn it into a baking competition between you and your friends.

2. Dinner Night

A cute dinner is so cute and fun! Especially if you and your gals decide to dress up and take cute pictures. Go out of the box and try a new restaurant; it might surprise you.

3. Have a Photoshoot

Who doesn’t love a good photoshoot? Grab your friends and put on your favorite pieces, maybe even heart-themed clothes, and take awesome pictures. 

4. Movie Night

Watch all your favorite rom-coms and grab a bag of popcorn to go with them, but just don’t forget about a cozy blanket.

5. Go Shopping

Go to your favorite stores and shop til you drop because you deserve it. Don’t be afraid to buy yourself your own valentine’s day gift!
