GirlSpring and Les Dames d’Escoffier are pleased to invite you to this unique mother-daughter “Tea with a Twist” ahead of Mother’s Day weekend! Discover and sample the rich cultural traditions of teas from around the globe, AND make your own clay teacup to be be fired in the kiln at Earthborn studio!
Here’s what to expect:
10:00-10:15: Tena Payne, owner of Earth Born studio and Rebecca Denson, owner of xxxx, share the stories of how they came to be where they are, moderated by Maureen Holt of Southern Graze
10:15-10:45: Sample teas from around the globe and discover the stories that go with the many different varieties of tea
10:45-11:30: Under the direction of Tena Payne, girls and moms will make their own unique teacups out of clay
11:30 Lunch and Q and A, plus more bonding and mingling
12:00 Grab your pick of flowers to leave with a take home bouquet
