A Product of Boredom

Last year, while I was in quarantine I became extremely bored. To cure my boredom, I started to pick up hobbies to try to make my time at home more enjoyable. One of the hobbies I picked up was painting, and one day when I was feeling extremely artistic, I decided to paint a pattern mural on a wall in my house. The mural took several weeks to complete, and is a true product of boredom; however, I love my mural because it is a reminder of the beauty and growth that can occur in the moments of darkness and uncertainty, and it brings me joy to know that art can still be created when circumstances are not necessary ideal; I enjoy looking back to how much I and my appreciation for all types of art as evolved, and I am thankful for the experiences that have shaped that evolution.
