Has One Direction’s Harry Styles already finished a solo album that he will release in 2016 during the band’s “extended hiatus?”
Rumors are rampant that the handsome singer has already finished up his work on his first outing without the band that brought him to superstardom.
One Direction will release their latest effort, “Made in the A.M.” on Nov. 13.
Reportedly Harry Styles is eyeing superstar producer Max Martin to come in and clean up the tracks he has been working on during his off-time this year.
Martin has co-written tunes for Katy Perry and Pink, as well as Taylor Swift.,
” Harry admires Max’s work,” a source close to the singer told the Daily Star.
This comes after a story published by The Sun where a source claimed that Styles has been working on solo tunes for the past year and had already recorded over 20 tunes.
“Harry has been writing constantly both when on the road and when doing his own thing. He’s managed to work on and record 20 songs already,” a source revealed to The Daily Mail.
“Some of what he’s written in the past has been given to the band. But he’s been working hard on creating his own sound,” the source continued.
“He’s trying not to think too far ahead until after this last bit of promotion for 1D,” revealed a pal close to the singer to The Daily Star.
“You only get a couple of chances after you come out of a band like 1D,” they remarked.
Reportedly, Styles is interested in signing with top music manager Irving Azoff, who has worked with the likes of Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera, to launch his solo sound in the United States, according to The Daily Mail.
Styles is rumored to be looking to pursue a long-term solo career like Justin Timberlake, after he broke out of ‘N Sync.
One Direction’s latest outing, Made in the A.M., will be released Nov. 13.
