Poem

In Nature

In honor of this being the middle of spring, I thought this poem would be a great reflection on the forces of nature.

In Nature

In nature I roam

Nature is my home

It gets bright the sun says “hi”

The night comes and the day goes by

Out comes the moon

It will be cold soon

The storm ruins a perfect day

The children cannot play

Danger is amongst slippery roads

The truck drivers rush as they carry heavy loads

But without the rain there would be no bright flowers

And the sun would burn we people for hours

Nature builds, nature destroys,

See nature is wild nature excites the little boys

Nature carries life and it swirls

Nature brings confidence and beauty to the girls

Nature is not nice but it is fair

Nature does not pick sides but it lives everywhere

Nature makes the world go around

It is neither up or down

Nature is our friend

Nature crafts things into a bend

Nature walks and sways with a smile

Nature comes and it does hurt for a while

But the hurt is short and the sun will shine

And the light will be around until the end of time

So as long as the tides still sing

Happiness and peace is what nature will bring
