There are many feminists in this day and time where women in America have more rights and opportunities than ever, but there are some women who stick out more than others through their hard work and activism. These are just a few iconic people who have worked hard to make a difference for young girls and women.

In a world that is dominated by men in the sports field, it is wonderful to see girls making powerful strides in the athletic world as well. We have interviewed Macy Marin, who is a student at Samford University and works very closely with their athletic department, often sideline reporting at away games for 99.1 The Game, and sometimes working at home as a booth manager.

Ciera MacKenzie is a 16 year-old rising country star, living in Nashville, Tennessee, with a knack for playing the guitar and songwriting. She got her break at twelve years old, when singing at a local music store in her hometown of Cache, OK, where she had been taking lessons. At this talent showcase, the owner of the music store told Ciera there was a recording studio where he’d like to record with her, if she had any originals. Luckily, she had four notebooks full of songs. After four months recording, Ciera had her first album.
