Artist Statement
For some odd reason when I think of the word “Tranquil,” I automatically think of the color blue. The colors found so commonly in nature always tend to bring me tranquility- blues, greens, and especially browns. Most of my artwork even consists of these colors. I never do it on purpose but my eyes are naturally drawn to them. I want people to look at this peace and get a sense of tranquility from it. I want them to see the beauty within in but I truly want it to be something that brings them a sense of peace.
